Adobo Chicken Wings
Tasty wings that are sure to please everyone.
RBK Adobo Wings
- 500-750 grams chicken wings
- 1 bottle RoniB's Kitchen Adobo Sauce
- 3 tbsps cooking oil
- toasted garlic chips optional
Marinade chicken wings with RoniB's Kitchen Adobo Sauce enough to cover the wings for overnight or at least one hour.
Heat the oven at 180ºC.
Transfer the chicken wings in a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove chicken wings from the baking pan. Set aside.
Pour excess juices in a small casserole. Add remaining RoniB's Kitchen Adobo Sauce in the bottle to the casserole.
Reduce sauce to half and thicken with 1 tbsp cornflour to 2 tbsp water. Set aside.
Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the cooked chicken wings until golden brown. Transfer fried wings in a bowl.
Coat fried wings with the reduced RoniB's Kitchen Adobo Sauce.
Arrange on a plate and sprinkle with toasted garlic chips.
Serve with steamed or boiled rice, slices of fresh tomatoes. Can also be eaten on its own as a starter.
It will be surprising if there are any leftovers! If you do have, shred the chicken meat and deep fry until crispy. Serve with fried rice, fried egg, fresh tomatoes. Perfect for breakfast!
Marinade the wings overnight to let the flavours soak in better.
